I headed out to my local Kroger's today (which I found out was 45 minutes away, hahaha) to see what deals I could score with my own $30 gift card.

I purchased 41 items for $32.13.

Yep, you read that right -- I was able to score 12 Yoplait Yogurts, 1 Wanchai Ferry Dinner Kit, 2 boxes of Total Cereal, 2 boxes of Cheerios, 2 boxes of Natures Valley Trail Mix Granola Bars, 2 packages of Pillsbury Toaster Strudel, 2 packages of Pillsbury Cookie Dough, 2 containers of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, 2 containers of Grands Biscuits, 2 containers of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper, 3 Lunchables and 6 packages of Oscar Mayer hot dogs.

It was totally worth the trip!!

I'm sure I can save at least $40. My Kroger double coupons up to and including $1, and combine dwith my shoppers card, I don't think I have ever left there saving less than 50%!

We'd probably save around $50 or so because we usually save between $20-30 without the Mega Sale Event. trinitygsd at yahoo dot com

I've shopped the sale twice this week and saved over 50% both times. I found more coupons, so I'm guessing I could save about $15 on another trip.

I would love to win because it's my birthday week! (Only a mom would wish for free groceries for her birthday). My goal is always to save twice as much as I spend - so I would hope to save $60!

Our nearest Kroger is nearly an hour away. I have been trying to tempt my husband to go there to find their coupons and other deals. I like that they accept coupons and their own saver card. Thank you
