Shew! What a day! I met up with my mom and aunt this morning for deals at CVS.. I think the three of us were more than able to frustrate the other customers with our couponing - especially once we hit the registers. Ah well, I guess I didn't feel bad for too long considering the fantastic deals we got today!! :)

Here's the breakdown of my transactions for all the above products:

Transaction #1

1 Bayer Aspirin Quick Release Crystals - $2.00

- Used $2 in ECBs from previous week.

Total: $0, earned $2 ECBs

Transaction #2

1 Edge Infused Shaving Gel - $2.89

- Used $2 in ECBs from Transaction #1

Total: (with tax) $.95, earned $2 ECBs

Transaction #3

1 Crest ProHealth toothpaste - $2.88

- Used $.75 coupon

- Used $2 in ECBs from Transaction #2

Total: (with tax) $.19, earned $2.89 ECBs

Transaction #4

6 Tresemme 24 Hour Body Hair Care Products priced at $3.33 each - $20

- Used $4 off $20 in beauty products Q from CVS

- Used 6 $1 off printable Tresemme Q

- Used $2.89 ECBs from Transaction #3.

Total: (with tax) $7.97, earned $10 ECBs

Total out of pocket: $9.11, earned $10 ECBs for next trip.

Since I'm so new to this, I'm sure there are better ways to roll this deal, but I don't think I did half that bad! If you see any ways to improve this scenario, PLEASE let me know!!

Gearing up for Sunday Savings

It's a beautiful Saturday evening and what am I doing?? Going over my Grocery Game list and adding up my Giant Eagle purchases for tomorrow. I'm hoping it will be a great week at Giant Eagle.. as long as they have their B1G1 boneless skinless chicken breasts in stock!
I'm really dorky but I'm so excited to hit the CVS deals tomorrow as well! I've been reading up on scenarios for tomorrow and I hope it will be as good as last week!
I'll post all my deals tomorrow as I get them.

CVS: Free Purex Laundry Detergent!

Yep, you heard me right! Go here to print off a coupon for B1G1 free Purex laundry detergent. Make sure you print it twice! CVS has Purex on sale for B1G1 free. I stopped by today on my lunch break and was able to get 4 bottles of laundry detergent for $.91 in sales tax!! My receipt says I saved $27.96. WOW!!

CVS Challenge

Don't forget to check out the CVS Challenge for this week! I took my Aunt Becky today and we got some great deals! It was her first trip and she was able to get 1 Pantene Shampoo, 1 Pantene Conditioner, 1 Softsoap Bodywash and 1 Colgate Whitening Toothpaste for about $4 out of pocket and still have $2 in ECB's for next week!
